I can’t imagine a more comfortable scenario than sitting by a fire with a good book and a comfy place to sit on a snowy day, so it only made sense that I would incorporate them into a drawing. In this artwork I started with the bookcases on either side of the image to give it a sense of symmetry. This drawing really evolved and developed more freely over the course of me working on it rather than having everything planned out in advance.

This is a one-of-a-kind artwork drawn with Prismacolor, Caran D'ache, and Faber Castell Polychromo colored pencils on Strathmore Bristol Vellum paper.
